Save our planet

The Pearl Of Samui Resort is caring and is respectful of our planet and has opted for some ecological materials aimed at protecting the environment but also it’s wonderful island which is Koh Samui by promoting the local economy.
Our hotel supports this cause and puts his touch, through a few small eco-friendly gestures, to the preservation of nature and biodiversity.
Here are some of the eco-friendly actions developed by the hotel:

  • Plastic straws replaced by bamboo straws
  • Using organic coconut for breakfast smoothie bowls
  • As tap water is non-potable in Thailand, we have an innovative equipment that transforms, thanks to humidity, air into drinking water, it will be this water that will be supplied to you every day in your room in glass jugs and no longer in plastic bottles.
  • Change of sheets and towels on customer’s request, to avoid too much waste of water and electricity.
  • Single-use plastic toiletries items replaced with multi-purpose, non- disposable toiletries
  • Establishment of a single magnetic card system to avoid overconsumption of electricity and energy.
  • Availability of bicycles, free of charge, (green transport) to avoid CO2 emissions.
  • Beds and wardrobes made of cement and not wood for an eco-friendly gesture.
  • Some of our outdoor lamps use solar energy to avoid excessive energy and electricity consumption
